What we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are
This website belongs to Upswing Local, a web design and development studio based in Pakistan. You can contact us by email at getupswinglocal@gmail.com or through our contact form.

What we collect
When you send us a message
If you use our contact form, we receive what you type: your name, business name, email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, current website address, budget range and the choices you made in our project builder.
When you browse
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages visited. This is used to keep the site running and secure.
To protect the contact form from spam, we store a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for a short time to limit repeated submissions. It can’t be turned back into your IP address.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and doesn’t load fonts or scripts from third-party services as you browse.
The project builder remembers your choices in your own browser (using “session storage”) while you have the tab open, so they aren’t lost if you move between pages. That information stays on your device and is only sent to us if you submit the contact form.
How we use your information
- to reply to your inquiry and discuss your project,
- to prepare a proposal if you ask for one,
- to keep a record of our conversation, so we don’t ask you the same questions twice.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t add you to marketing lists without asking.
Where it’s kept and who can see it
Messages are delivered to our business email and a copy is kept on our web server as a backup. Only the people working on your inquiry can see them.
To confirm: hosting provider and email provider names, the country where data is stored, and any tool used to manage inquiries (for example a CRM).
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of our work together, then delete them.
To confirm: a specific retention period (for example, inquiries that don’t lead to a project are deleted after 24 months).
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it or delete it. Contact us by email at getupswinglocal@gmail.com or through our contact form and we’ll respond. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we’ll help you use them.
Children
This website is meant for business owners. It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
